| Division of Labor Studies, Indiana University The DLS was established in 1955 and given the mission of meeting the educational needs of workers, union members, and union leaders. In pursuit of this mission, the DLS offers a degree program in which students may obtain a Certificate, Associate of Science, or Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a variety of non-degree educational options for workers and unions. The DLS also offers degree seeking students the opportunity to take classes on-line. Additionally, the DLS provides research support for unions and has offices located on six regional campuses throughout Indiana. |

| University of Massachusetts, Labor Center Founded in 1964, the Labor Center is an integrated program of graduate education, research, and direct service to workers and the labor movement. The premier graduate program in the country for those who want to work in the labor movement, the Center also offers its Master's degree in a limited-residency format for union officers, staff, and activists. |

| University of Iowa Labor Center Since 1951, labor education for Iowa's organized workforce has been carried out through the University of Iowa's labor education program. The Labor Center, located within the Division of Continuing Education, annually reaches over 3,000 Iowa union leaders with a wide range of non-credit educational programs in the areas of practical industrial relations, labor law, labor history, communication and leadership, economics and politics, and related areas. |
