Internal Organizing Internal organizing refers to efforts by activists to energize and mobilize all workers in the bargaining unit. Fostering solidarity and building bargaining power should be on-going activities for union leaders during contract campaigns. An internal organizing committee can be especially helpful during organizing campaigns. Employees have a fairly broad legal right to engage in union solicitation at work so an internal committee is able to conduct the following tasks:
