The IBEW, or International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, is the largest trade organization of electrical and electronic workers in the world. Composed of over 750,000 members in the United States and Canada, we represent workers in all fields of the electrical and electronic industries, including electrical construction, utilities, manufacturing, telecommunications, television/radio broadcasting, and governmental sectors. The IBEW also represents employees outside of the electrical industry, including public employees, health care workers, and service employees.

In 1891, the IBEW was founded on the principle of improving the lives of working people. That dedication and mission continues today. The members of the IBEW pride themselves on providing effective support and services for the members of the organization.

The IBEW is an organization of workers, for workers.
