Agreement
Campaign rules for a free and fair election
In the spirit and tradition of American Democracy, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and _____________________ Management agree to respect the right of each employee to make
a decision concerning union representation and to vote in an atmosphere free from fear and intimidation. Toward that end, both parties agree to the following: 1. Because the primary purpose and goal of the Company and the
employees supporting the Union is to provide the best possible customer service, and to produce a quality product, neither party will engage in any activity that interferes with the production or delivery of our product. 2. The election
campaign shall be free from fear, intimidation, harassment, discrimination, surveillance, interrogation, and any other activity which interferes with the free exercise of election rights. 3. To protect the interests of our customers, there
will be no campaigning that interferes with work. No one will be taken away from their duties to discuss campaign issues. 4. All meetings about the election - either individual or group, will be strictly voluntary. 5. In order to have a
full and open discussion of the issues, there will be weekly "open forums" at the plant. Representatives of the Company and the Union will be present to make short presentations and to answer any questions from employees who voluntarily choose
to attend. 6. In the event any consultants are hired by either the Company or the Union, the name(s) of such consultants will be made public, and a full, public accounting will be made of all money paid or committed to the consultant(s).
7. No supervisor shall be punished or discriminated against in any way, for refusing to campaign against the IBEW. 8. Both sides agree that after any Union Election victory, they will bargain in good faith for a contract.
