users will not be able to install this software. Nearly all computers
that use Windows will meet the minimal requirements listed above.
Microsoft Word Viewer
will allow you to view and print word processed documents contained on
this CD.

Word Viewer Installation Startup File
Installation
Instructions - Internet Explorer users
After clicking on the
installing link above, a File Download box will appear asking you to either
open or save the installation startup file to your computer. Click the
Open button.
Click the Yes button on the next box asking whether to
continue with the installation of Microsoft Word Viewer.
Click the Continue button on the next screen that appears.
The next screen shows the pre-defined folder designated for Microsoft
Word Viewer's software files. It is recommended that this folder not be
changed. Click the OK button when you are ready to proceed
to the next step.
The end-user license agreement box appears next. Click on the Accept
button when you are ready to proceed to the next step.
After accepting the agreement, a box will prompt you to install the software.
Click on the icon button just to the left of the bold word Install.
NOTE: If your computer uses Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows
XP, you will most likely need administrative rights to the computer in
order to install this software.
The software files
will be copied to your computer and installed. A small box indicating
installation success should appear at the conclusion of the installation
process.
Installation
Instructions - Netscape users
After clicking on the
installing link above, a Save As box will appear asking you the location
for saving the installation startup file. From the Save in drop-down menu
located towards the top of the box, select Desktop. Then
click the Save button. This action will save the Microsoft
Word Viewer installation startup file to your Desktop.
Go to your Desktop. Find the icon with the file name wd97vwr32
underneath it. Double-click on the icon.
Click the Yes button on the next box asking whether to
continue with the installation of Microsoft Word Viewer.
Click the Continue button on the next screen that appears.
The next screen shows the pre-defined folder designated for Microsoft
Word Viewer's software files. It is recommended that this folder not be
changed. Click the OK button when you are ready to proceed
to the next step.

labeled wd97vwr32. Right-click on the icon and select
Delete. Since the software has now been installed, we
no longer need the wd97vwr32 installation startup file.
